Floor 2

This floor will be a 1B/1b/1l apartment. You would exit the elevator to a very small space outside to allow you access to your residence’s door. You would use your RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) card. Once you enter, you would be greeted to your great room which provides space for your kitchen, and a door to your lavatory. Rather than having a dish washer in your kitchen, I opted to provide a single load washer/dryer combination. This machine will be a pay machine, and you would use your NFC enabled debit/credit card to pay for your laundry. Each charge will have a pending charge to make sure you can pay to use the load. At the end of the day, all of your pending charges will be combined into one final charge. This will be to your benefit if you have to pay per transaction, or if you want a nice and clean account statement. The great room will have a TV Wall.

Opposite of the kitchen will be a door to the lavatory which will allow you or your guests to use the toilet without having to go the to other side of the apartment. Between the lavatory and kitchen there will be a hallway. Down the hallway, you would find a door on the right for the office. This room will have a closet where you would be able to select your television provider, and have 4 ethernet jacks for servers in the closet. Since I do not provide premium television services, you would have to have the technician manage this connection when you get cable television. Going down a little more will introduce you to the ¾ bathroom on the left, and you will walk into the door for the bedroom. The bedroom will be large enough for a full size bed, and there will be a TV wall.

The communication closet in the basement will recognize this floor’s network as 192.168.2.xxx. This will make it easier for you to not have someone enter your network from outside your apartment. You wouldn’t want me to access your printer, and I wouldn’t want you to access my NAS (Networked Attached Storage). There will be a wifi access point in the ceiling of the residence for wifi communications. I will always install the latest option which will support older versions. If you need a POE connection at any time, you would contact me, and I will make the change within a day.

Your wifi networks will be f2 and f2-g. f2-g is for your guest network, and will only provide them with internet service. While they will share your LAN, they will not be able to access LAN. resources beyond the internet connection. For both networks, you would have to provide the passphrase for the SSIDs. You would also be able to log into the network server, and manage your LAN’s resources such as providing a static IP address for a particular device. You would do this by going to https://192.168.2.1, and enter the login credentials.
