Internet is required for a few things. All of these are necessary for providing the value of services, and capabilities to make the building be as functional as possible. In addition, internet service will be provided by me to the tenants. Since the building needs internet services, it just makes sense to provide it for the tenants as well. In the case of internet services, the tenant will be sharing a 1GBPS FiOS? connection. Each floor will receive its own IP range, and each floor will have a wifi-7 access point installed in the center, in the ceiling.
One of the reasons is for the snow melt system. In the sidewalk, there is an in-ground radiant heating system. This system will check the weather for temperature, and snow fall. If it is to snow or sleet, the ground temperature will increase the ground temperature to 54°F (12°C). This will melt the snow and ice before it can stick to the ground. The ground will also be dry which means no need to shovel, or salt the sidewalk. Since doing this will be my responsibility, the snow melt system will be imperative for everything to work. Otherwise, I will likely have to pay someone to do the shoveling for me.
Last is for the backup systems. In my 4 Story Building, there will be back up servers. These secondary devices will assure that all of my back-up systems will remain backed up, therefore backing up the backup. All of the 6-8 bay NAS? will have a backup, but the 2-4 bay NAS will not.
Again, since internet is required for everything to work, internet will be upgraded to offer for the tenants to use. Otherwise, the minimum connection will be needed. By offering this as a perk to the rent, it will likely keep the tenant for wanting to remain in the unit. If this is the case, they will make sure rent is a priority when doing their budget.
