One might just think about “cold” and “hot” water. However, in this building, it will be so much more. There is also sewage which most people don’t think about unless something goes wrong. However, in addition to that, there will be heating lines, and a fire sprinkler system. And while most of the lines will be in spray foam insulation, they will still be color coded for when they are not in spray foam insulation. For drinking water, there will be a filtration system to filter the water, and an osmosis system to kill anything left. This will assure that the water is as clean or cleaner than bottled water. The color codes are as follows:
- Black: Sewage
- Blue: Cold Water
- Clear: Underfloor/Snow Melt System
- Orange: Fire Sprinkler
- Red: Hot Water
- White: City
