Cent-Vac (aka: Central Vacuum) is a means to make it easier for me to vacuum the floors without having to lug around a heavy vacuum cleaner. I am not getting younger, and as I age, it will become harder to accomplish tasks. Even now, it is painful on the ankles to do any extended cleaning sessions. With that said, the cent-vac will be a lifesaver, and help keep me more independent. Each room will have 2 outlets on opposite walls of the room. This will assure that I can cover the entire room, and make sure the floor in its entirety to be cleaned.
There is no utility cost, however – every 6 months, I will have to replace the bag for the vacuum. The bag in the vacuum will have all of the dust, and tracked in dirt. This bag will then go out for the trash which is the closest to a utility cost. For more information on that, visit the trash page within this section.
