Floor 1

The first floor is a basic plan, and layout. There are two entrances. One is for the business (A), and the other is for the residence (B). With that in mind, there will be areas that will take up some space. However, this will be expected. The areas are

A Entrance

This will be a business storefront. It would depend on what kind of business will be paying for the rent. Currently, it is a restaurant, but that might change if the tenant would have to move out for the renovation work. Also, the current tenant may not like the design of the floor plan, and lack of various connections such as networking, telephone, and television. If there is no business that will be willing to rent the space, I will consider installing a convenience store in the space to earn extra money since I won’t be collecting rent.

B Entrance

The entrance to the residency will be located here. At the public door, there will be an intercom which will buzz the living room of the residence. This buzzer can be turned off for privacy, and convenience. With that in mind, the visitor will get access into the building through the door being unlocked. The visitor can then go to floor 2 which is the only other floor the visitor can go to. This space will also have a mailbox, but keep in mind – that I will continue to use my PMB for the vast majority of my mail.

Garage

There will be a 2 car garage that would allow for me to have a place to park my automobile. Since I would only need one auto, I will be willing to work with the business on the first floor to lease them the second space on a month-month lease. If I should need to take over the spot, I will be kind enough to give them a 3 month notice.

Hallway

Between the garage and the elevator, there will be a long hallway. This hallway is only going to be 5′ wide, but this will be wide enough to support any needs. There will be a motion sensor that will detect motion, and turn on the hall lights. If there is no motion, the lights will be off.
