Home Telephone

I will have a [cellular] phone which will provide for most of my calling. As for my home phone lines, I will utilize a PBX (Telephony) server that will integrate with my SIP accounts. With that being said, I will acquire a WiFi phone. This phone will work as you might expect a cordless phone to work, but will use the WiFi network rather than a DECT connection. There will be a phone in the living room, and another in my bedroom. Since I don’t have a family, there will be no need to have multiple lines. If I was to find Ms. Right, or foster children, then there might be a need for additional phone lines. With that being said, I will setup the accounts in the PBX server, and setup an appropriate line for that account. All phones will use an RJ45 connection.

In addition, I will have a business on the first floor. I will use Ooma for the phone lines there. The current account will just go to the business where the private line will be the primary line, and the secondary line will be the published line. The private line will be given to suppliers, and other such entities that would need to reach out to me directly.
