There will be a number of security factors in place. Anywhere there is a requirement for key access, the key will be an RFID key system. The front door will have an intercom system, and an outdoor camera to see who’s calling. There will be an intercom panel that can be disabled for when I don’t want to be bothered. If anyone important needs to reach me, they can simply call. For an alarm system, I will use SimpliSafe. The base stations uses both Wifi, and cellular to assure access to the SimpliSafe security system. I will have to enter a key pad PIN to assure that it is me that is entering my residence. If I had a family, the appropriate family members will also have their own PIN.
There will be entry sensors on all doors and windows. There will be glass break sensors, and there will be security cameras that would hopefully plug in via POE (Power Over Ethernet). If so, then the cameras will be able to use the Cat8+ cable for transmission of data, and power. There will also be carbon monoxide/smoke detectors to provide protection there. Keep in mind that there will be a fire sprinkler system which will hopefully kill any would be fire.
Now, to address the RFID locks that would be throughout the building. I will have an RFID chip surgically implanted in my hand. This will allow me to wave my hand to gain access, and assure that I could never lose my key unless I lost my hand. If I was to have a family, they will be given an RFID card unless they chosen to have a chip implanted in their hand, but this will definitely not be a requirement. SimpliSafe will cost about $90/month for their best package, and one that would hopefully be worth it.
